What to Do if A Woman Doesnt Return Your Phone Call

By Teddy Shabba Let us imagine for a moment that you met a woman on a Saturday night, really hit it off and exchanged numbers. You call her a couple of days later and get her voicemail. You leave her a message, now you are wondering when or if you should call her back again? After she calls you back is the simple answer. What if she doesn't call me back what should I do now? You should wait till you see her again and then do a better job of creating attraction in her so that next time she will call you back and maybe even call you first. What if I don't see her again? If you never see her again hopefully you will have moved on and forgotten her before then. When you call a woman you have shown her that you have a certain amount of interest in her. When she doesn't pick up or return your phone call she has now shown you a certain level of disinterest. Calling her again and again is only going to show that you have an even greater level of interest in her and at the same time increase her level of disinterest. Now if you do run into her again the only thing you can talk about is how you called her again and again and she never returned your phone call which isn't a good way to help build attraction in a woman, whatever chance you did have is slowly going down the drain. Yet, if you had only called once the next time you ran into her you wouldn't even have to bring up the fact that you called and instead could concentrate on building more attraction in her. If she apologizes just tell her you found someone else to go play bingo with and that it was no big deal and get back to creating attraction in her. Now she will be eager for your call and just might pick up on the first ring. Organising a Great First Date in the UK After Meeting Someone Special Online

By Ivor Conway Let's not make any bones about it the first date after meeting someone online is always a difficult thing! Feeling nervous. Good because that is perfectly normal. Feeling excited. You should be, this could be the start of something great! Where to go? We think that lunchtimes at the weekends or straight after work/college during the week are the best times for a first date. A quick drink somewhere close-by will mean that you have the chance to learn a little more from your date and they can learn a little more about you! Decide to eat after you have met. Getting gravy stains down your shirt can be off-putting on the first date so see how you go with regard to food. Also meals tend to be longish affairs and if things are not going well it is more difficult to leave a meal that it is a quick drink. Keep it simple. Does anyone really want to go salsa dancing or sky diving on a first date? Good first dates usually lead into fantastic second dates so do not try to pack everything into your first meeting. Be yourself on the first date and things will be fine. Feeling nervous, then say so. You can bet your bottom dollar that your date is feeling the same and it will break the ice. Talk a little about yourself, what you enjoy doing and then listen to what your date has to say. Communication, as your mother keeps telling you, is a two way thing! Take time to understand what your date has to say for themselves and if you are unsure about what they have said, ask them to explain. People love to talk about themselves in general so make sure that you allow them to speak whilst having time to put in your ten pence worth. It all goes well, fantastic. If not take the following lesson to heart. If everyone met their true love on the first date that they ever went on, we would all be married at sixteen and this article would be about raising babies. Dating is about meeting people having fun and moving on if that particular person isn't right for you. Expect some average dates and even some poor ones. Expect to meet people that you fancy but who ask not to see you again. It's difficult I know but not everyone is going to fancy you as much as you fancy them. People are different and that is a great thing. It can also be a bit of a downer when you get yourself all excited for a date and it doesn't go as well as planned. Don't lose heart. Put it down to experience and if you have followed our advice and only arranged to meet for a quick drink close by, then what have you lost, an hour or two and the cost of a drink. For every frog there is a prince. Believe us. To keep the magic alive we would recommend limiting the number of first dates that you go on each week. Dating can be exhausting and you can quickly become jaded. Save yourself so someone special rather than meeting up with every Tom, Dick or Harriet! Making That First Meeting A Safe One

Dating people you meet on the internet is as safe as dating people you meet at work, in the pub or at a club. We all need to look after ourselves so please just bear the following tips in mind and stay safe when meeting someone new. This applies to men as well as women!

When you make the choice to meet someone off-line, always tell someone where you are going and when you will return.
Leave your date's name and telephone number with someone that you can trust.
Bring your mobile phone with emergency numbers stored in it.
Never arrange for your date to pick you up at home instead make your own way to the date.
Meet in a public place at a time when many people are present, and when the date is over, leave on your own as well.
Make sure that you car is nearby or that your route home on public transport is well timetabled and reliable.
If youre nervous, double date with friends to take some of the pressure off. A good date will understand.
Avoid dates that involve being away from other people like walks in the countryside, bike rides or drives to remote areas for the first few dates at least. If you decide to move to another location, take your own car or grab a taxi.
When the timing is appropriate, thank your date for getting together and say goodbye and go home alone. On the first date at least.

Have A Back-Up Plan

If things are not going well, and sometimes they will not, have a back-up plan. Call someone you trust and get them to come and collect you or get them to call you so that you have an excuse to leave. If things have gone wrong on the date and you are uncomfortable with your date let someone know like the restaurant manager, the barman, a fellow dinner or even call the police .It's always better to be safe than sorry. Never worry or feel embarrassed about your behaviour. Your safety is much more important than one person's opinion of you. There are lots of online services which give you a safe and secure environment to date online. While liars, cheaters and imposters certainly play their craft on the Web, you'll also find them in nightclubs, among the membership ranks of off-line dating services, at cocktail parties and occasionally sitting across from you at your local caf. Regardless of where, or how, you meet someone, dating is never a risk-free activity. A little caution will reduce your risk in these matters of the heart. Drinking
Youll probably be nervous before a first date. Though a few drinks could help loosen you up, dont overdo it. Youll need to have a clear head if things don't go to plan. Never leave your drink unattended or drink anything that has an unusual taste. And being a drunken mess is not a great way to impress a new boyfriend or girlfriend. Ending the Date
If you don't wish to see your date again, be honest and tell them firmly in a considerate way. Remember you are in control. It is your responsibility who you contact and who you don't. Don't put yourself at risk and trust your instincts. However if you continue to receive messages after you say "no" to further contact, you should report that member to the site administrator where you met online and document all further attempts to contact you carefully. Our last tip is to enjoy yourself! Have fun, be safe and we hope that you meet the partner of your dreams soon! Very Old Secret To Melt The Heart Of Your Beloved

By Maria Madeira My Dear Lover, Communication is one of the key ingredients for the success of a
Long Distance Relationship. You can communicate by messenger, by phone, by email, by web cams,by snail mail, etc. All of this means of communication are
important, but if you want to melt your beloved heart, the best is through love letters. Several researches arrive to the conclusion, that couples that
write love letters have almost twice of the change of staying
together compared with the couples that never write love letters. Of course love letters don't even come close to having your beloved near to you, but they are magic, they are much more powerful than the phone in a Long Distance Relationship, because when you write a love letter, you express your most inner feelings with words from your heart, and that will simply melt the heart of your beloved. Love letters will take you to a very close level of intimacy. What could be more romantic than receiving a love letter? Do you
remember the first love letter you ever received? You never did
receive a love letter?! My God you don't know what you are missing! A love letter is an amazing thing, just imagine what is the feeling of receiving a romantic love letter from the one that loves you, with words that express caring and passion, words of affection, words that express love so deeply tender. Oh it's so magic. You can send your love letters by email, but my advice to you, is
that once in a while, send handwritten love letters. It is much
more romantic and will leave a much more last feeling on your
beloved, than if it was written by computer. And love letters are
legacies. Send them in special stationary, use a special pen with good
quality ink and put some of your favorite perfume in the paper and envelope. Express your romance and passion with words that come from your
heart, be loving, express how much you love your beloved, and that you always will, express your gratitude for being loved so much. And if you need more help to express your feelings express the
reason you fall in love with your beloved; express your most
romantic moments together and thank for each single detail; express how your life changed since meeting your beloved; express what you most admire in your beloved; express the most romantic thing your beloved did for you. So now that you know the "Very Old Secret To Melt The
Heart Of Your Beloved" what are you waiting for?

Finding Trophy Bass

By Charles White Have you ever noticed some people have all the luck when it comes to catching huge bass? Maybe, it's not luck at all, it is most likely they know where to look for the lunkers and what the big bass need to survive. Bass continue growing their whole life but when you have the right elements, they can grow to be monsters. Big bass needs an abundance of food, shad, crawfish and shiners all are good food for bass and it has to be plentiful. Bass need warm water to grow to be monsters, this makes their metabolism faster, this is the reason why monster bass grow in the Southern states.
Bass also need shallow water for a place to spawn and feed and
they need deep water close to the shallow water for cover and cold fronts. Use your fish finder to find the right places for lunker bass. Mine has water temperature on it, that helps find warm water. If you see a bunch of fish in a location on your finder then they might be bait fish. Once you find the warm water and bait fish then see how far away the deep water is located. If it is close to the warm, shallow water and the bait fish, then try that place for fishing. If you can find a fishing hole with all these ingredients then you're likely to find big bass. Charles E. White has fished for almost 50 years for bass from California to Florida. In his lifetime, he has caught over 6,000 bass. His biggest bass is a 12 pound 14 ounce that hangs on his wall in his office.
Charles has owned two tackle shops and has taught many people to become successful anglers. He has fished with the Pros in Florida and California. His website about fishing for bass is at:

Triple Play Over SDH Unites the Traditional With the Modern

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Volker_Bendzuweit]Volker Bendzuweit To be able to provide an infrastructure for high-revenue broadband services like triple play, operators are working feverishly to deploy modern networks capable of supporting TV and video streaming. But pure-bred next-generation networks with end-to-end IP infrastructure will remain the exception in the foreseeable future. Even in modern carrier networks, traditional lines will continue to play a role, and technologies like Ethernet over SDH are making it possible to build pragmatic solutions. With next generation networks (NGNs), carriers are deploying an Ethernet IP platform capable of supporting not just services like Layer-2 VPNs, VLANs, and voice over IP, but also video and TV transmission. These networks consist of IP/MPLS-based transport networks and Ethernet-based Metro networks. To reach the greatest possible number of customers, these networks support different types of access on DSL copper lines, cable TV lines and optical Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM). Triple Play services a combination of Internet access, telephony, TV and video are expected to offer considerable sales potential in the consumer segment. Triple Play has plenty of appeal for customers: they only need to pay for one access service and can place phone calls affordably over the Internet, surf the Web, watch TV, and access videos, games and music for their home entertainment platforms over the network. These services can be offered on both DSL lines and back channel-enabled broadband TV cable, so competition for consumer business will get tougher. DSL providers and TV cable network operators are suddenly finding that they are rivals in the same market. There are, however, opportunities amid the competitive risks: Triple Play is seen as a means of increasing the average revenue per user (ARPU), attracting new customers, and offsetting shrinking margins in former cash-cow segments, like call charges and DSL access, with revenue streams from value-added services. So its hardly surprising that Internet service providers (ISPs) are working hard to begin offering attractive Triple Play services and to enrich these services with value-added communication capabilities and entertainment content. But to deliver these services, ISPs need more than just a simple infrastructure for data transportation. They need modern networks that are optimized for real-time applications, that can sustain the transmission of TV broadcasts and video on demand and enable guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS). This is good for carriers because, with the decline in prices in recent years, they can hardly turn a profit worth mentioning by simply providing data transport infrastructure. Modernization with IP DSLAMs
To support Triple Play services, the broadband infrastructure needs to be expanded. TV and video streams require much higher bit rates than, say, Internet access and VoIP applications. Because an individual video stream today needs a transmission rate of between 1 Mbps and 4 Mbps (and this will increase with the advent of tomorrows new high-definition TV formats), vendors need infrastructures capable of supporting rates of between 5 Mbps and 25 Mbps. Furthermore, high Quality of Service is crucial to Triple Play services because no one, for example, would be willing to put up with a jerky motion on TV. So network operators are currently upgrading their networks to support more demanding services like IPTV (TV and video streaming over Internet Protocol) and deliver them to the customer on access technologies like ADSL2+. This means that the local loop needs to be modernized. One key component in the new access networks are Internet Protocol DSL access multiplexers (IP DSLAMs). These provide residential users with the services on DSL lines and essentially form the backbone of the Local Loop. The multiplexers are connected to the network operators IP, MPLS or Ethernet transport infrastructures. Known as backhaul networks, these segments generally use packet-switched lines, with Ethernet being the connection of choice because of its simplicity. Unlike traditional DSLAMs, IP DSLAMs use IP or Ethernet rather than ATM. Besides the greater data throughput and the need to carry video streams smoothly, they also have to support voice traffic, in keeping with the principle of Triple Play. Equipment has to be capable of delivering the requisite high Quality of Service to sustain voice over IP and video real-time applications. Connecting the Multiplexers
To connect an IP DSLAM, network operators generally use dark fiber and attach the equipment to the fiber over Gigabit Ethernet. Optical fiber is not available at every location, but instead of installing new fiber in such cases, DSL network operators can rent conventional fixed SDH lines to connect their multiplexers. This pragmatic approach is not just more economical, because there is no need to deploy an all-fiber infrastructure, but also creates valuable competitive advantages: Triple Play vendors are eager to get their services out into the marketplace and they need to roll out a suitable network infrastructure as quickly as they can. Easy ConversionAs with many point-to-point applications, simple conversion at the protocol level is the most affordable means of carrying Ethernet traffic from the IP DSLAM across an SDH network. The IP DSLAMs Gigabit Ethernet interface is connected using a protocol converter. This converts the Ethernet data into virtual containers (VC-4) and transfers them across the STM-1 interface directly to the network operators add-drop multiplexer (ADM). One known issue associated with Ethernet over SDH is avoided here: the transportation of signals of variable length like Ethernet frames on fixed-size units like virtual containers (VC) in SDH is anything but efficient. And the scale of Ethernet traffic (100 Mbps, 1,000 Mbps) does not fit the hierarchy levels in SDH (around 150 Mbps with STM-1 and 450 Mbps with STM-3). Thus, the transmission of traffic on a fully loaded Fast Ethernet interface over an STM-1 line would waste one-third of the available bandwidth. Here, however, the traffic from an only partially loaded Gigabit Ethernet interface is transported on the STM-1 line, and the size of converter can be chosen to best suit the actual data throughput. In the application example in the sidebar, an intelligent RIC-155GE Ethernet-over-SDH converter carries Gigabit Ethernet traffic with a maximum rate of around 150 Mbps from the IP DSLAMs across an STM-1 line. This prevents bandwidth loss and eliminates the need for complex and costly solutions like virtual concatenation technology. If additional bandwidth is needed, equipment with an STM-4 interface can be deployed. The name of RAD Data Communications product reveals plenty about the device: it is a rate and interface converter with STM-1 (155 Mbps) and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. The converter has a number of additional functions, which make it especially well suited for use in Triple Play-enabled networks. It supports a large number of MAC addresses and, therefore, a large number of DSL users. In addition, when traffic is high the converter can buffer data when it peaks. Using VLAN priority tagging, the device can also distinguish between applications an important capability, particularly for the efficient transmission of TV channels (multicasts) on a network. At a glance
The requisite IP connectivity is not always on hand to transport Ethernet data streams. One way around this problem is to convert IP traffic into SDH containers and to carry it on an SDH transport network. Bandwidth can be adjusted as necessary, depending on the data rate. Closing gaps in IP networks affordablyTelefnica Germany is expanding its broadband infrastructure for business customers and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Technology from RAD Data Communications is being deployed to connect the Ethernet infrastructure transparently using conventional leased lines: the RIC-155GE Ethernet-over-SDH converter enables Gigabit Ethernet interfaces to connect up over SDH lines. Telefnica Germany has a comprehensive, nationwide MPLS-based backbone. The company is currently building an unbundled Local Loop (LLP) platform. By the middle of this year, up to 40 percent of all households in Germany will be connected. With this highly advanced, Ethernet-based DSL infrastructure, service providers will be able to offer broadband services like ADSL2+ and, later, multimedia services like Triple Play. Missing linkAround 1,600 IP-DSLAMs will be connected over Gigabit Ethernet lines to form ring-structured Metro networks, mostly on dark fiber. However, fiber is not available at every DSLAM location. Telefnica soon found a solution to close the gap: It leases SDH lines from other network operators to carry its Ethernet traffic. To be equipped to meet tomorrows demands, the company was looking for an affordable product that would transparently convert the data traffic and support multicasts. When new services are rolled out, the issue is not rapid time to market. If a company does not have its own Ethernet or IP lines for DSLAM backhaul and if no dark fiber is available, SDH networks, which are still widely available, can provide an answer, explains Ramon Horkany, Product Line Manager at RAD Data Communications. Leasing lines is often more economical, particularly as the current price trend is very favorable. Says Ingo Stampe, Director Networks with Telefnica in Germany, Of all the solutions we looked at, RADs RIC-155GE converter proved to be the most affordable option for carrying Gigabit Ethernet interfaces over SDH lines. Women's Job Search Alert: 7 Ways to Watch How You Talk!

By Paul Megan Getting ahead in the job marketplace . . . or on the job . . . is a special challenge for women. It shouldnt have to be that way. But, until the rules change, women have to learn to go with the flow to get ahead. The good news is that, if you can master some simple communication skills, you can put yourself way ahead of the male competition. But, according to career coach Molly Dickinson Shepard, you have to learn to talk more like the male dominated management youre confronted with. Essentially this means learning how to speak more assertively, she recommends. But without crossing the line into aggressiveness. Here are some rules that can help you make management sit up and pay attention: 1. Your tone and level of voice can make all the difference. 2. Dont challenge your boss or group leader in public. Dont embarrass colleagues and dont make personal attacks. 3. Never show anger at work. 4. Confident speech is good. Cocky is bad. 5. When youre in charge and a decision is yours, dont solicit everyones opinion. 6. Women like to make everyone feel included. But men see this as passive and unleaderlike. 7. Dont allow yourself to feel wounded by words of criticism at work. Effective communication is a critical factor in getting along and getting ahead on the job. Practicing these simple rules can give you a real leg up. The same is true if you are looking for a new job. Many times you will be meeting face-to-face with a male decision-maker who has expectations about how you should communicate yourself. Once again, assertiveness rules. To be assertive you have to very clear about what you have going for you that will attract the attention of the decision-maker. And then you have to be able to tell him with confidence. Its worth practicing for. Paul Megan writes for EEI, the world class leader in alternative job search strategies and non-traditional career advancement since 1985. Cell Phones Accessories - Get More...

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Martin_Smith]Martin Smith Accessories can complete an outfit, dress up something like a purse, a coat or shoes. Accessories can also add to the performance of something like a cell phone. Cell phones have almost as many accessories as Barbie does. Some accessories are practical, some are ornamental and some are just available. In the world of cell phones, there are accessories that are practical, they aid in the safe operation of the phone or allow you to carry the phone safely. Some are there if you want them like downloadable ring tones. I have broken the accessories down into groups to make it easier to describe them. There are operational accessories. These accessories include battery chargers. Bear in mind these chargers are often phone and model specific so that they are not interchangeable. There are hands free kits that are easily installed in your vehicle. These enable you to talk on the phone and keep both hands on the wheel. There are antenna boosters that help to strengthen the signal between your phone and its cell tower. These are particularly good in areas where cell phone signals are not strong. Batteries are available for your cell phone but they are made specifically for your model and manufacturer of cell phones.
An attachment is available to attach to your phone that will add some time on your battery when its low until you can get it charged again.
There are speaker phone kits. These are attachments for your cell phone that allow you to talk on the phone without holding your handset in one hand and trying to control your vehicle with the other. There are a variety of dashboard mountable holders that can be placed within arms reach. Cases and holders are available in various styles. There is the horizontal case that looks very much like an eyeglass cases. Vertical cases look like pocket eyeglass cases. Cell phone holsters are available for your belt or to be worn across you shoulder like you see policemen wear on television. Multi-use cases can be worn on the arm, on your thigh or on your wrist. These cases not only hold your cell but they can hold your license and maybe a few dollars. These cases are usually fastened with Velcro(tm). There is a variety of other cell phone accessories that are somewhat technical in nature. Internal cell phone accessories include downloadable games to help you pass the time when you are waiting for someone and downloadable ring tones these can be anything from the traditional ring to the William Tell Overture and traditional holiday songs. Cell phones are not just phones, they are mini computers with internet capability, organizers, calendars, note recorders, and to do lists. They also have number directories and record the numbers of callers and names and numbers of calls that you missed so you can return calls later. Text keypads might be available for your phone. Antenna boosters increase signals and there are radiation shields that are supposed to reduce your exposure to radiation. Other accessories that exist for cell phones are phone covers and face plates. Phone covers have two pieces one to cover the front and one for the back. Face plates just go over the keypad and front of the phone to add some decoration such as patriotic designs, animal prints. One of the cutest accessories is plush animal covers for cell phones. Not only are they cute but they actually are functional the cell is placed in the back of the animal. The body of the animal acts as a cushion in the event the phone is dropped. Cellular phones and the accessories that go with them can vary in price. They are all optional but some might be just plain fun. The thing to remember with cell phone accessories they are not necessarily interchangeable. Do your home work, learn all about your cell phone and learn how to operate it. Relationship Advice: Voices of Experience on the Radio

By Jeff Herring A few years back I was on a radio talk show out of New Orleans called "The Andre' Show" discussing "What Makes a Marriage Successful". The producers had seen my column in the New Orleans paper and decided to create a talk show topic from the column. So now I'll create a column from the talk show. Are you with me so far? OK. The format of the show was for the host and I to talk about what makes a successful marriage and to take calls from the listening audience. We received dozens of calls from listeners on what had made their marriage successful, and we were not able to get to them all. I was on as the supposed "marriage expert", the real experts were the people calling in to offer what had made their marriage a success through the years. Let's take a closer look at the themes and the advice of these experts on creating a successful marriage. Commitment The strongest theme throughout all the calls was the notion of commitment, both to the other person and to the marriage. This came from callers who had been married anywhere from ten to fifty years. And these were not people who had stayed together "for the kids" or because it was the "right thing to do." These were people who seemed to actually be enjoying marriage and their partner after so many years. Many of these callers spoke about how rough it was in the beginning. They each spoke about how it was their commitment that held them together through the early rough spots. As one caller stated, "The beginning can be rough, but staying through the tough times to get to the good times has definitely been worth it. Besides, it's what we said we would do in our vows." Shared problem-solving One of the key factors that seemed to keep the commitment alive was the notion of shared problem-solving. One caller shared the traditional cliche "We just don't let the sun go down on our anger." My comment was that there might be many people who never got any sleep with that notion! But what the caller went on to say was this, "We don't have to think alike, we have just learned to think together". Excellent advice. Another caller made this interesting distinction about arguing and problem solving - " We always make sure to argue as 'friends' and not as 'husband and wife.'" This one had me really curious, so I aked the caller two questions: 1) could they elaborate, and 2) could I use this notion in my work. They said yes, I could use it and went on to explain how when arguing, they focus on holding each other in the high esteem of a long time best friend, and not in the position of someone who is trying to beat them in an argument. The notion seems to work for them and also seems to be working in my office so far. Humor and Laughter. Putting your spouse first One gentleman said that he beleived that one of their secrets to success was that early on he decided that "whatever is good for my wife is good for me." Now pop psychology would say that this man is codependent, that is, too dependent on his wife, etc., etc. While there is a useful place for the notion of co- or over-dependency on someone, it's a notion that has been taken to an unhealthy extreme. Just think about it , you are "co-dependent" on the chair you are sitting in to read this articel, for goodness sake. What I beleive this couple has discovered is the power
of "interdependency", the ability to trust and depend on each other. He sounded very happy, and I'm willing to bet his wife is pretty happy as well. I received quite an education while in my supposed expert role, and these are just a few of the themes that came out on the program.. What I've come to believe is that the real experts are those folks out there who have created successful marriages. So here's a couple of questions: "What are the things that have made your marriage so successful?" "What's the difference that makes the difference? Let us hear from you at the web site below. After all, you're the real experts! Visit SecretsofGreatRelationships.com for tips and tools for creating and growing a great relationship. Mosquito Farms? Is That What Water Gardens Are?

By Scottie Johnson What is nicer that a lovely backyard garden pond. The lush growth rising above the water, graceful fish darting about and the soothing sound of the water. These are just a few of the reasons people are drawn to water gardens. But when you think about adding a water feature to your garden, you are torn, because you know that a charming pond can also be a mosquito hatchery. And, everyone is concerned; rightly, about mosquitoes and the diseases they spread. It is true, mosquitoes do need water to breed, but at the same time, there are so many effective ways to prevent mosquitoes from breeding in ponds, you should not let that stop you. Water gardeners are in a unique position; they can have wet spaces that can actually help stop mosquitoes from breeding. Just a few simple precautions are all you need to feel safe and enjoy such a wonderful addition to the landscape. If you have a water garden, or want one, try these suggestions. Have moving water in your water garden. Mosquitoes will not lay eggs in running water. The newly hatched mosquito must rest on the waters surface for a few minutes to let its wings dry. If the water is moving, the female mosquito will not lay eggs there. Get some mosquito fish for your pond. Mosquito fish, or gambusia affinis, are very aggressive predators of mosquito larvae. They are also aggressive to other fish and will also eat dragonfly larvae, or nymphs. If mosquito fish are too predatory for your particular tastes, several other types of fish readily consume mosquito larvae, such as guppies, killifish, and small goldfish. Koi are too large and will not target the larvae. Add Bti to your pond. Bti is a naturally occurring type of bacillus that is eaten by the mosquito larvae, and rapidly kills them. It is not harmful to fish, pets, wildlife or humans. It is sold under such names as Mosquito Dunks, or Mosquito Bits. Add dragonfly larvae, or nymphs, to your pond. They are voracious predators of mosquito larvae, and while the mosquito larvae stay in that stage for only a few days, the dragonfly nymphs stay in the larval stage for up to two years, and can prey on many generations of mosquito larvae. And, when they become adults, the dragonfly feeds on adult mosquitoes too. Invite toads into your yard. One toad can consume up to 100 mosquitoes and slugs per night. They lay their eggs in water, so the pond will attract them. If happy with its environment, a toad can grace your garden for up to 20 years. And the tadpoles will eat mosquito larvae also. As an overall precaution, get a propane powered mosquito trap, such as the Mosquito Magnet, to reduce the mosquito population in your garden area. These are the most effective mosquito killers around, and they will capture (and kill) the mosquitoes that your natural controls miss. With the growing concern about mosquito diseases, like West Nile virus, malaria, and dengue fever, it is natural to feel reluctance to add any water source around your home. With the right precautions, you can beautify your garden and still feel secure that you are not inviting mosquitoes into your immediate environment. If water gardening appeals to you, just educate yourself, take the needed precautions, and get ready to enjoy the beauty and serenity a water feature adds to your home. Aromatherapy: The Power of Aromatics

By Michael Russell "Every plant, animal or inanimate thing has an odour and one peculiar to itself, but in many cases it is not obvious to us. Thus things which appear to us to have no odour give forth one of which other animals are conscious... The two senses of taste and smell are akin to each other, wherefore it is through things which appeal to the taste as well as those which appeal to the sense of smell that men try to discover fragrant odours". Theophrastus When we inhale a pleasant perfume, we feel impatient for the next breath as we find it has a relaxing and helpful influence. If we pick up an obnoxious odour, we frown, become tense and irritable until we are free of its influence. Although the basic function of olfaction is in warning us of danger and so is a protective sense, another aspect increases our sense of enjoyment of life. We can increase our awareness of olfaction and even cultivate it in order to enrich our appreciation of life, particularly natural life, as when we inhale the perfume of a rose or enjoy the freshness of the forests. Our sense of smell is directly related to our respiration. It is intimately connected with the memory centres of the brain which file away previous sense memories and experiences. Different scents can unconsciously or consciously affect or trigger our moods, our deep emotions and our thoughts, depending upon our associated experiences. By a subtle whiff of perfume or scent from our past, we can be instantly transported in time. We all have been 'taken back' at some time by the reminder of a special scent or perfume. This demonstrates one of its greatest inherent powers. But this is not the only power that aromatics possess. It is interesting to know of the many uses of perfume in the past. The most common use of fragrant rushes of course was in attempts to overcome unsanitary conditions where bad odours usually had to be endured. in conditions where deep breathing would have been difficult. Cottage gardens, in addition to the pure aesthetical value, featured scented plants to help improve the immediate atmosphere. Perfumes were also used in the art of healing. It may seem strange to us that Egyptian priests of long ago used inhalation of a perfumed oil as a treatment for epilepsy or to ward off the plague, but there are many modern scientific tests involving the efficacy of essential oils as antiseptics, antivirals and in the healing of certain symptoms of disease. Beyond the obvious benefit and enjoyment of perfumes it is now becoming recognized that natural scents have a positive value in healing and helping the mind and emotions. It has developed into a subtle science with many practitioners employing the art in helping relieve psychological as well as physical stresses and strains. As the finest natural perfumes can help to make us feel good and to elevate our consciousness, or calm our mood so there are odours which are heavy, damaging to our cells and depress our consciousness. These can cause irritation to our brain and nervous system to the extent that even brain damage or mental derangement can result. Glue "sniffing" is a common example amongst the young people hoping for a passport to a heavenly state but sadly experiencing the opposite. A negative experience can result after deep inhalation of a chemical or synthetic aromatic substance. That is why any claim of aromatherapy is based upon the use of an natural essential oil only. Perfume directly affects the brain and has both a physiological and a psychological effect - an effect upon our respiration and breathing, as well as upon our moods and thoughts. It can also help to create a strong influence upon our environment and immediate atmosphere of the office or home, but care should be used in selecting sprays for this purpose. The science of aromatics is advancing, but is hampered to a large extent by the fact that it will always be subjective, depending upon the individual reaction. Valuable work is continuing with professionals who offer aromatherapy in combination with massage and relaxation. Although some would consider it is a rather superficial indulgence, others experience greater benefit if the appropriate oils and perfumes are applied. So it is vitally important that attention is given to the personality, character and needs of each individual, else such treatment can be reduced to just another technique for relaxation. When selecting a body perfume for oneself it can be that the somewhat confusing array of commercial products makes choice difficult. Remember the powerful and wonderful selection of natural oils which can offer you a simpler but satisfying range of attractive scents which can also make you feel good. Of the range of essential oils it is possible to select ones which are stimulating or calming, relaxing or vitalizing, masculine of feminine in influence - with some of the most popular being rose, lavender, pine, sandalwood, vanilla, bergamot, petitgrain, cedarwood, neroli, cypress, ylang-ylang, boronia, jasmine and lemon-each having a different application and each offering a unique benefit. History Of Cell Phones-Dazzling Facts Every User Should Know

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Matthew_Mills]Matthew Mills The history of cell phones finds its birth around 1980. A batch of approximately 2000 mobile phones was manufactured in Chicago. The intended customers were given a free phone to see if that type of business would work. They were not the first cell phones manufactured, but they were the first to be mass produced. The users found it so convenient to be able to quickly and easily call someone from wherever you were at the time. The initial cell phones were wieldy and cumbersome. In addition, they were unsightly as well as expensive. Today the cell phone industry generates an astronomical $120 billion in revenues. That constitutes an apparent mega monster in anybodys book. Should one or two cell phones go awry, it would be
understandable in light of the size of the networks. However, in most cases you can still rebook a return flight to Hawaii while at the same time make a weather check in Boston. As far as communication is concerned, todays phones are versatile and worth their weight in gold. It appears as if there is not much behind one mobile call because they are so easy to make. However, just attempting to explain the wireless networks can get perplexing. In point of fact, the wireless networks are a string of radio towers. Only a few miles separate each tower as they form what looks like a vast grid. The space from one tower to the next is called a cell. The landline telephone network is also connected to the towers. When you call someone on your handset, it searches for a signal from a cell tower.
If your handset cannot find a signal you will not be able to make a call. A major requirement for all cell phones is to have a System Identification Code, SID. It is a unique five digit number. The FCC assigns this number to each carrier. The SID code is put into your handset after you sign a service contract. Then the phone is activation. When you turn your mobile phone on it searches for a SID on the control channel. Your cell phones inability to retrieve it results in the dreaded no service message being displayed on your phone.
Conversely, should a SID be found, the SID in the handset tries to match up with the SID that was located. When a match is made your cell realizes that it is working from home base. Should they not match up, your mobile is said to be roaming. The system manager that your phone is roaming in, contacts the manager of your home system. Then your system manager checks its own database to confirm that your SID is valid. Your phone is then tracked as it roams through the various cells. Using someone elses network like that means added costs. The truth of the matter is roaming can hurt your pocket. Does the history of cell phones provide you with enough information to help you to start up your cell phone business? Well thats great! Follow this link. Blown Glass: They Do Still Make It Like They Used To

By Allen Shaw Blown art glass is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing hobbies in North America... and it is about time. Glassblowing has been around since 27 BC in Syria, though the first evidence of manmade glass products occurs in Mesopotamia in the late 3rd century BC. But the advancement of actual "blowing" glass using a tube transformed the materials usefulness. The new technique quickly spread throughout the Roman world. Harvey Littleton, a ceramics professor, and Dominick Labino, a chemist and engineer, are credited with starting the most recent "studio glass movement" in 1962. The two held workshops at the Toledo Museum of Art. This is where the current method of melting glass in a furnace for use in blown glass art was originated. Thus, Littleton and Labino are credited with making molten glass available to artists in private studios. The actual process of preparing the glass for blowing is very involved though. The glass is melted in furnaces using the sand, limestone, soda, potash and other compounds. The actual transformation of raw materials into glass takes place well above 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. After the glass has melted, the artist uses a blowpipe to shape the glass. The blowpipe is about five feet long and is used for blowing a parison of molten glass. Molds are used to impress decorative patterns. There are two types of modern glassblowing but offhand glassblowing is the type most people picture in their mind when they think about this kind of art. The artist gathers a glob of fused glass at the end of a hollow tube called a blowpipe or blowing iron. The molten glass is then fashioned into its final form by various techniques of blowing and shaping with hands, tolls and molds. The second kind of glassblowing is lampworking. Lampworking is the softening of a glass tube by heating it in the flame of a torch. Next, the softened glass is manipulated into its final form by blowing and shaping with hands and tools. Any number of things can be created using either technique; sculpted animals, ashtrays, vases, aquarium pieces, beads, paper weights, perfume bottlesthe list goes on and on. Moreover, practically every major part of the world at one time or another in its history has been known, in some part, for its glass art. However, Mexican glass art is the most popular. Mexico is the land of the master craftsman. Known throughout history as being expert potters, weavers and wood carvers, Mexican artists have really made their mark as glassblowers. Beginning in 1542 in Puebla, these artists produced glass items in a variety of shapes with little more than a long pipe and a glob of melted glass. Experienced Mexican glass blowers will even add effects as small bubbles, blobs of color or pebbles to their finished to pieces to make them stand out. Authentic Mexican glass is easily identified by a ponti, or a place at the bottom of the finished product that indicates it was mouth blown. Another feature of Mexican glass is its individual nature. No two pieces are ever exactly alike in size, shape or design, which simply adds to the unique nature of each piece. But the most unique detail about this glassblowing is how little it's changed since its inception. For the most part, glassblowers are still producing beautiful works of art the same way they did back in 27 BCmelted glass and a metal tube. This is one instance where my grandpa was wrong. In the case of glassblowing, "They are still making them like they used to." You may use this article as long as the 2 URLs are hyperlinked. 10 Ways to Make More Money in Business

By Chet Holcomb Dont you just love Paul Simon? The lyrics to his songs are not only pleasing to the ears, but can be inspirational. Imagine yourself enjoying the warm autumn sunlight while listening to Paul's song, 50 Ways to Leave your Lover. Now, stretch your imagination just a bit and think about how many "Ways" you can come up with for saving and/or making more money in business... The problem is all inside your head
She said to me
The answer is easy
If you take it logically So, lets look at the problem logically for a minute. Here are four basic ways you can increase your profits: 1. You can charge more for your products or services.
2. You can sell more of your products or services to your existing clients.
3. You can find additional clients.
4. You can find ways to cut back on your business expenses. "Slip Out the Back, Jack" (Simple ways to save money): So, if youre on a shoestring budget (and who isnt these days?), then obviously you need to do everything you can to save as much money as possible, and make as much money as possible, as quickly and easily as possible. Here are 10 simple ideas you can use: 1. Know your target market. Who are your ideal customers?
Where do they shop? What do they read? What solutions are they looking for that your business provides? The more you know about your customers, the better youll be able to target your promotions towards them, which will increase your bottom line two ways it will save you spending money on advertising that doesnt work, and it will increase your sales, because youre offering your customers what they really want. 2. Get double duty out of any contact with your customers. If you sell products, put your contact information on everything products, bags, invoices sales receipts. Make it easy for everyone to find you. Give away something free. If you have a Website (and if you dont, then get one), give your customers something for giving you their contact information. Free Ebooks, reports, or software are all good choices (just make sure its relevant to your customers). Anytime you send your customers anything a product, a newsletter, an invoice include a coupon or information about your latest products or services. To save money on postage, if you have a brick and mortar store, put a copy of your latest newsletter or an informational flyer in your customers bag after each sale. 3. Reward your customers. Set up a reward program. Offer them a reward for anyone they refer who becomes a customer. Or give your customers a free gift when they spend $50 (or whatever amount makes sense in your business). When theyre eligible for the free gift, offer them an upgrade to something bigger or better for a few dollars more. Start a customer loyalty program. Provide customer only sales, or promotions. Let your customers earn points, or magic money that they can use to redeem your products or services. 4. Get ready for your close-up. When youre brainstorming about creating a promotion or advertising campaign, dont forget about your local cable TV channel. You may be pleasantly surprised by how low their rates actually are. Create your own television commercial or infomercial. Although you may not be ready for prime time, you can still target your ad to reach your customers. 5. Get involved in your community. Find a nonprofit organization that is doing work you believe in, and either publicly support their program, or be one of their sponsors for an upcoming event or fundraiser. Use the advertising spot to let people know about the fundraiser (and, incidentally, your business). You could put together an inexpensive ad campaign that will help those in need, increase your visibility and let your potential customers know that you're supportive and aware of the needs of the community. Make a new plan, Stan (Business Planning Basics): 6. Beef up your business plan. If you dont have a business plan, make writing one a priority. Your business plan is more than just a way to interest investors. Its a road map that will help you get from where you are now to where you want to be. That old saying, If you fail to plan then youre planning to fail really is true when it comes to business. "No need to be coy, Roy" (Ask your customers): 7. Get testimonials from your satisfied clients. But dont stop there. What about creating your own television commercial that you can run in your store? (With a video camera and a little ingenuity, you could even create your own infomercial that shows customers how to use or get the most out of your products or services. If youve got a Website, put an audio testimonial on there. (And dont forget to include pictures). 8. Speak up. Again, keeping in mind who your ultimate ideal customers are and what their most pressing problems are, write an article, offer a free seminar, or offer to be a speaker at local chamber of commerce or other organization or community meetings. Being perceived as an expert is a relatively easy and inexpensive way to get the word out about your business, and bring in more customers. "Just hop on the bus, Gus" (Expand your business potential) 9. Create joint ventures. Even if your primary business is a brick and mortar one, you can still create a joint venture that will help you save money by sharing the costs for advertising. What about creating a special sidewalk sale with other business owners on your street or in your neighborhood? Or finding businesses with complementary products or services to yours, and creating a package deal? If your business is only online, look for ways you can partner with other businesses maybe you could create solo ads and promote each others products or services in your mailing lists. There are a lot of ways you can save money and increase your client base if youre willing to get creative. "Just drop off the key, Lee" (Provide the key solutions) 10. Let your customers know you know what their problems are. It's sad but true that your customers don't care how good your products or services are. They only want to know two things: do you understand what their problems are; and can you solve them. Give your customers the "key" to their problems, and you'll have evangelistic customers who come back again and again. Sexploitation, Social Influence & It's Behavioral Effect

By Rion Williams The blatant social or 'commercial' sexploitation of women and the negative sexual transmutation of men is reaching a breaking point. This extra awareness and energy has to go SOMEWHERE. Guess where it goes? Out of your wallet. It's getting dangerous. Fortunately most good men don't turn to outlets like rape but they transmute all of that diluted and aware energy into profitable (for others) outlets such as video games, mens' mags, fitness, self-improvement, career advancement, material gain and more
only to find that doesn't resolve their situation either. They still want to 'screw' every hot woman in sight because they've become so 'aware' of the attributes of sexploitation. After all they have become the conditioned response and the reality around them reinforces this relational belief. They're so connected to it emotionally. They've given it so much 'added value' for the screen time it's given. If it wasn't always 'in their face' and literally provoking them, exploiting their one 'weakness' they'd be comfortable, sane men like they were supposed to be and used to be. The saturation point is even affecting preacher's and clergymen across the country. T&A is blatantly and subtly being waved in front of our faces and people can't see what's really going on. They see T&A everywhere and they are now responding to it unconsciously. They have been conditioned to be intimidated and afraid of a woman's body and sexual power whether she's
been on the cover of a magazine or not. They've glorified this concept of sexuality so much that they've become like Jim in American Pie around all of the women they communicate with. Bad news for other dating guru's but nothing they do or say is going to change the fact that they have the wrong relationship with women in the very first place. Why is it like this? Why do millions of men not know how to deal with women anymore? Because the 'Architect's' were successful in their plan all along. They influenced the behavior of men while dividing the sexes. Massively profitable industries abound off of the new discontent and fantasy divergence of the sexes. To uphold the social pressure/standard, women seek more fashion, more make-up, more man-repelling advice on how to be more out of his world. They also seek pent-up natural/emotional outlets such as romance novels (why do you think this industry is so big?), romantic comedies and ice cream with their small dog. Separately, men seek all kinds of outlets to transmute the exploited sexual energy that they're so desirous of yet always seems out of reach. Look at 'Tag' body spray. Look at beer commercials and men's magazines. All of it further duping people into the fantasy instead of reality. All of it is actually conditioning them
to BUY more instead of being effective in dating and relationships. And when they do connect men are taught to do things such as buying her flowers, expensive gifts and expensive dinners. Not only is that not effective (trading money for her time) but all kinds of other people in society get to profit off of the business created. All kinds of money is blown to no extent. What happened to just connecting with people naturally, being interdependent, not spending money on dates and instead focusing on each other? Wow. That wouldn't be very profitable for the people sending out all of the programming that builds up these dual fantasy worlds keeping men and women apart while not knowing how to behave around each other. It's up to men to understand this mass commercialism, the types of messages they're sending and most importantly the causal influence that the wrong relationship (sponge conditioned response) with it has done. The commercial sexploitation is going to reach a breaking point when enough men and women realize what is really going on. Actually that is more up to the men. They are in a position to take their power back while women will continue to wait until there is a stimuli that makes it safe for them to change their behavior publicly again...back to one of more flirtatiousness instead of sexier 'better-than-thou' prickteasing. Men like me who can create this safe natural reality around women are men who massively attract women because they know it's ok to be themselves again, to escape from the massive social
pressures and to experience happiness, emotion and attraction again. Why? Because as a man I am the stimulus in mating for women to respond to and open the path to a relationship. The real answers to success with women lies in relational dynamics and behaviorism. By being aware of what commercial sexploitation is at it's roots and how it's altered our dynamics,
you can begin to take your power back and be successful with women and dating while actually saving money. Fossil Collecting Disaster In Indiana

By Claudia Mann When fossil collecting, road cuts can hold many treasures for fossil hunters. But fossil hunters BEWARE! Those cuts hold something more: varmints that will hang on to your skin long after youve taken your fossil treasures home. A Lesson Learned
Were new at this fossil hunting thing. Oh, we found our share of relics when we were kids and young adults, but as bona fide rock hounds, we are novices. We learned the varmint lesson the hard way this summer. The Danger Sign
On a tip from a friend on a great place to find crinoids, we excitedly scrambled over a road cut in southern Indiana, paying no heed to the telltale signs that should have made us take care. In the excitement of fossil collecting, we ignored the water that was seeping from the cut...never thinking that the plants were anything more than a mild impediment to our rock hounding. Something Found Us
By the next morning, our armpits and waists were dotted with quarter-inch red bumps. Surprisingly, the chiggers hadnt cared much for our ankles! My husband, who grew up in the west, had never experienced the intense itching of those little critters. Days after we arrived home and still itching, he scoured the internet for preventions and cures. Oh, Now I Remember
I should have known better. I grew up in southern Ohio; chiggers were part of everyday summer life. I also should have thought about the poison ivy that was lurking there. Be the third day after we arrived home, my entire face was swollen and redand the itching was nearly unbearable. The poison seemed to spread for weeks. It was a full 2 months before the last of the nasty red patches were gone. Better Safe Than Sorry
So when fossil collecting take heed! Cover your body COMPLETELY when you go out in the field. Along with your rock hammer, carry some powdered sulphur to rub around your ankles, waist, wrists and armpits. My mother never went out to the garden without first dowsing herself in that natural chigger-repellent. Make sure you have access to a hot shower and use special cleansers for removing the urushiol (poison ivy sap or oil) that causes the watery blisters. A little consciousness about the plants and animals that shared the road cut would have made our excursionor the return from it, a whole lot more enjoyable! A Lasting Memory
We did find lots of crinoid fossils, but they were not what we remember most about this fossil collecting trip! Secondary 800-Year Age of Adam

By Clark Nelson The secondary 800-year Generation Cycle is the tool we need to resolve the genealogy following Adam. Genesis scriptures quote a primary age and a secondary age for each listed character from Adam to Noah. Collectively known as the Antediluvian Patriarchs, they have a primary age until fathering the next named character. Secondary ages measure time from fatherhood until death. Genesis 5:4 informs us that Adam lives for 800-years following the birth of Seth. Work at timeemits.com groups primary ages into one primary age category. The Antediluvian Calendar secondary age category starts with the first 800-year Generation Cycle. The secondary age category groups the secondary ages together. The secondary age category is total lunar/solar time, denoted here l/s, and includes all Patriarchs in consecutive order. Generation Cycles illustrate the wisdom of ancient minds. Genesis 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years:
and he begat sons and daughters: Segments of 800-years increment the secondary age category at the end of every primary age division. Extending the ancient recordings expresses by repeating the secondary 800-year age of Adam for Seth and the remaining characters. A repeating 800-year Generation Cycle was included with the secondary age for each later descendant Patriarch. Antediluvian characters from Adam through Jared utilize 800-year Generation Cycles as part of their respective secondary ages. The 800-year Generation Cycle was a single unit of time. Components from lunar/solar calendar systems assemble the advanced 800-year Generation Cycle. The begat genealogy following Adam lists a secondary age from the time of fathering the son, until the characters death. The original 19-year-l/s-cycle of the Jewish Calendar modifies to become a 20-year-l/s-cycle regarding the Mesoamerican Calendars. Multiples of 20-year-l/s-cycles form the secondary age category. Each year in the 20-year-l/s-cycle was a 360-day-Tun-year. Mayan terminology employs the prefix Ka in the word Katun that describes one 20-year-Katun-cycle. Twenty multiples of the 20-year-Katun-cycle permits the Mayan prefix Bak to describe a 400-year-Baktun-cycle. Increments of 400-year-Baktun-cycles count the secondary ages for all characters in the Antediluvian Calendar. Judeo-Christian history began with lunar/solar time reckoning concepts. Archaic evidence reveals that 800-year Generation Cycles were entrenched during the era of Adam and Eve. The time line establishes earliest Bible followers held acquired skills in astronomy, mathematics and communications. Actual observation through ancient eyes taught astronomers the 20-year lunar/solar cycle repeated the same heavenly sun, moon and star positions. The rational key to this calendar system accounts for precise fractions of degrees to the horizon, the phase of moon and gradual star locations. Lunar/solar time keeping order warrants a calendar system that later transferred to Mesoamerica either intact or in pieces. Located near Byblos and Ur, a small pocket of culture preserved the historical log in Genesis. The calendar numbers found in the Holy Bible is, was, and ever shall be -- everlasting. The eternal domain belongs to God. Beginning with Adam (generic man) and Eve (sunset, Ĕrve), the calendar is the human way to measure time and our precious treasure from the Bible. Message skills developed to permit transfer of the sacred calendar knowledge. The Word is the sanctuary for calendar material that began over 10,000 years ago. Genesis 5 holds the 800-year Generation Cycle legacy of the ancient past. Calendar science highlights more awareness and esteem for early people than what is currently agreed. Primeval humanity wrote this calendar material in the familiar style common to their culture. Countless languages and interpretations preserve the sacred calendar numbers. From original Hebrew and Greek, through Old English and modern, we have the astonishing knowledge of distant past history. Beyond the sheer numbers and impressive calendar math, this Bible study describes absolute time reckoning in the sense prevalent back then. Our modern task is to adapt present understanding to reflect a people with extraordinary abilities. Generation Cycles allow modern society to examine early scriptures based on original content meanings. Numeric remnants of the calendar and names attached to it constitute basic ingredients found with the Jewish, Egyptian and Mesoamerican Calendars of the Western Hemisphere. Manifest in mythology and religion, proto-historic gods and deities aided formulation of the calendar. The Antediluvian Calendar uses an agricultural 260-day-Tzolken-sacred-year within every 365-day-solar-year and extends by repeating 800-year Generation Cycles. Three different calendars combine for a hybrid understanding of extremely remote bonds in history. All three above were major calendars of the ancient world and commence between 4,241 B.C.E. and 3,113 B.C.E. years. Entwined with the Egyptian mythology and Israelite folklore, Mesoamericans add their beliefs regarding this advanced form of the calendar. A pattern sequence emerges to span nearly 8,000-years of history prior to the Great Flood of Noah. The first 400-year-Baktun-cycle begins the secondary age category. Mayan calendar architects integrated their base 20 numbering system for both days and years. Mere 20-year cycles brought the heavens to a very close arrangement compared to the original state. The 20-year-l/s-cycle required further calendar refinements. The 400-year-Baktun-cycle enhances lunar/solar timekeeping over 20 multiples of 20-year-l/s-cycles. Time squares from multiplying 20-year-l/s-cycles by 20-year-l/s-cycles. The 400-year-Baktun-cycle was a product of the Mayan Calendar and the comprehensive period to indicate 210-years of l/s separation time. The 400-year-Baktun-cycle doubles to get the secondary 800-year Generation Cycle age of Adam. The secondary 800-year age of Adam completes the first 800-year Generation Cycle. Later descendants of Adam continued to add 800-year Generation Cycle spans. Mesoamerican Calendars employed a 52-year Calendar Round that used both the 260-day-Tzolken-sacred-year and the 360-day-Tun-year. Working like meshed gears, 52-Haab-solar-years of 365-days each and 73-Tzolken-sacred-years having 260-days each pinpointed any calendar date. The 52-year Calendar Round is famous to archeology. After 18,980-days, the 52-year Calendar Round repeats. An intense ideology focused upon the Calendar Round preserved religious and social customs. The 52-year Calendar Round derives from the original calendar of Adam. A 5200-year Great Cycle in the Mayan Calendar expands the 52-year Calendar Round a hundredfold. Concentric time shifts the reference from days to years. The scale multiple is exactly 100 times greater in the 5200-year Great Cycle versus the 52-year Calendar Round. The Long Count Initial Series and the Great Cycle are variations along the same theme. The Long Count was a popular way to synthesize calendar meanings in the mid-twentieth century. Mesoamerican chronologists point to the cyclic nature of Mayan Calendar time. A Great Cycle consisting of 5200-Haab-solar-years follows the same sequence of 13 different 400-year-Baktun-cycles as the Long Count. Twelve consecutive 400-year-Baktun-cycles give rise to the presumed Mayan Creation date of 13.0.0.0.0. The Mayan Baktun numbers range from 1 to 13 in the Long Count Initial Series rather than 0 to 12. The Long Count is a number line, linear format developed for convenience. On the other hand, the Great Cycle presumes 12 Baktuns have already elapsed prior to 13.0.0.0.0. The Great Cycle repeats after 5200-Haab-solar-years or 7300-Tzolken-sacred-years, whereas the Long Count happens once. Adam and his descendants accentuate a culture with outstanding perception and reasoning. Adam first identified a primary 130-year age, which was half of a 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle. Seth was the first masculine, solar-side time split written for two Mesoamerican 400-year-Baktun-cycles. The next l/s time split in the primary age category quarters the 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle to derive the primary 90-Tzolken-sacred-year age of Enos. At the end of the primary 90-Tzolken-sacred-year age of Enos, Cainan was born. The calendar system of halving, doubling and dividing time predicated most history. Ancient theories of time reckoning divide the 260-day-Tzolken-sacred-year and the 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle in half as a single term. The calendar applies numerical matching to obtain 130-days and 130-years in a single term also. The division of 210-days l/s separation time for a 20-year-l/s- cycle results in 105-days of solar-side time split. The calendar squares 20-years by multiplying a 20-year-l/s-cycle by itself. The resulting 400-year-Baktun-cycle numerically matches 210-years of l/s separation time and concludes with 105-years of solar-side time split. Significant steps in the secondary age category occur for each 400-year-Baktun-cycle. The 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle in the primary age category halves for the primary 130-year age of Adam at the completion of the first 400-year-Baktun-cycle. Midpoint age levels in the secondary age category are the odd numbered 400-year-Baktun-cycles. Total secondary age category time is 400-l/s-years that coincide with the end of the primary 130-year age of Adam. The second 400-year-Baktun-cycle increments the secondary age category and achieves the first 800-year Generation Cycle for Adam. Total secondary age category time is 800-l/s-years and Adams 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle is complete. The third 400-year-Baktun-cycle equally halves 210-years of lunar/solar separation to get 105-years of solar-side time split. Total secondary age category time is 1200-l/s-years to mark the end of Seths primary 105-year age. A fourth 400-year-Baktun-cycle adds to Seths secondary age category. Seths secondary age category concludes 1,600-years l/s time. The end of odd 400-year-Baktun-cycle multiples are the halfway point transitions that determine changes in the primary age category. For example, the first 400-year-Baktun-cycle ending signals the halfway division of the primary age 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle. The end of the second 400-year-Baktun-cycle also ends the first 800-year Generation Cycle for Adam. The beginning of Seths secondary age category starts, or begets, 105-years of solar-side time split in Seths primary age category. A third 400-year-Baktun-cycle ends the first half of 210-years l/s separation time, thus resulting in 105-years of solar-side time split. A pattern emerges to alternate divisions of the 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle with solar-side time splits in the primary age category. Given by Genesis 5:6, Seths primary age at the time of fathering Enos is 105-years. The first 800-year Generation Cycle finishes the secondary age category for Adam at the end of two successive 400-year-Baktun-cycles. The secondary 807-year age of Seth uses the same method. Seth repeats the 800-year Generation Cycle for the second time. Seths primary age halves 210-years of separation time to show 105-years of solar-side time split instead of dividing the 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle. Divisions of the 260-year-Tzolken-sacred-cycle alternate with successive solar-side time splits. Are you a pastor, educator or a student of the Holy Bible? Job Satisfaction: I Can't Quit; I'm A Star

By Don Doman Whenever I hear the words job satisfaction, I think of the Country-Western singer/songwriter Roger Miller and his song Kansas City Star. As with all good Country-Western tunes there is a simple tune and a simple story involved with the song. The song starts off telling about a letter being received, which contains a job offer. Theres more money, expense account, and a car . . . and whats more the singer even admits that the offer is for a better job. He turns it down. Now, think of your employees. If they were offered better jobs, how many would stay and work for you? What elements make up job satisfaction for that better job? According to a 2004 survey for The Conference Board by TNS, a leading market information company (LSE: TNN):
The survey also finds that employees are least satisfied with their companies bonus plans, promotion policies, health plans and pensions. The majority are most satisfied with their commutes to work and their relationships with colleagues.
-- U.S. Job Satisfaction Keeps Falling, The Conference Board Reports Today Note that what most workers are satisfied with is their commute and their buddies at work. That doesnt speak well of their opinions about their jobs does it? According to the same survey, what makes job dissatisfaction? 40% feel disconnected from their jobs
66% of workers do not identify with their employers goals and objectives
25% of the workforce is just showing up for work. Job satisfaction comes in many guises. Perhaps, some workers feel connected, some receive recognition for jobs well done, some believe in what their company is accomplishing in their community, in their industry, or in the world, perhaps they have a manager who has inspired passion in their performance. In Roger Millers Country-Western song the story has a hero that believes his job has almost all of that. He is the host of a kids television show, where he has admiring viewers, hes recognized for what he does, and he is sought after in the community.
Better job at higher wages; expenses paid and a car; But Im on TV here locally and I cant quit; Im a star.
-- Roger Miller, Kansas City Star Do your employees have that sort of commitment? Do they have a passion? Do they feel connected to their jobs? Do they identify with your goals and objects? Or, are they just showing up at work for a pay check . . . which they could receive at some other place of employment? Think of what you and your employees could accomplish if you all felt like you were stars. I cant quit; Im a star. Are they? Are you? Marketing Infoproducts: Package Your Brain!

By Wendy Maynard As long as you are providing a service, there will always be a ceiling on how much you can earn that is based on the number of hours you can work in a week. Even if you hire an assistant and/or raise your rates, you are only raising the ceiling a little higher. The way you can blast that ceiling sky-high is to package your brain into infoproducts and sell them online. You have a particular system and unique way of providing service to your clients. Package it into an information product that will show people step-by-step exactly how you do it. The incredible advantage to this is that you can teach people all over the globe, day and night, every day of the week. With infoproducts, you dont have any limit on the number of information products you sell. While your service will always be limited by the amount of time you have to give face to face, your information product can teach countless numbers of people. Another advantage of packaging your brain into infoproducts is that you can develop your brain into more than one product. Your packaged brain can be sold on your website and at your public speaking events as CD sets, e-books, paper versions, recorded online seminars, DVDs, and so on. Because you will be developing a loyal client base who wants to learn more and more from you, you will be able to feed this hungry audience with your infoproducts. Here are other benefits of packaging your brain into information products 1. A low-cost option to use your services. By offering your clients infoproducts, they can purchase your packaged brain for substantially less than they could ever hire you for. For instance, a home-study course could provide a condensed version of what a financial planner or a coach provides to clients over a series of months. 2. A lower-risk alternative for prospects. Often your system serves as a doorway to you. Your prospect may study your system first and then later purchase your full-meal deal. This is powerful your prospect pays you to be your lead! She begins to feel like she knows you. Remember, people work with people they know, like, and trust. Your infoproduct is building relationships for you. 3. Your products build credibility. Like writing books, producing infoproducts will elevate your perceived expertise. You reinforce your brand and people find you trustworthy because you have outlined the exact steps to solve their problem. Remember, this is always about answering Whats in it for me? for your target audiences perspective. 4. You become more efficient. By turning your process into a system, you can show the precise sequence that helps your clients. Instead of trying to be intuitive about how to solve each persons problem, take him or her step by step through your process. You save time because you will know what each session will focus on and how long it takes to achieve results. Your customers will be impressed when you have worksheets and specific homework assignments for them to work through. It reinforces your expertise and makes them feel secure in their decision to hire you. 5. You can offer package options. Because you know each step of your system, you can offer your customers options. People are MUCH more likely to make a purchase if they have options. By giving your customers choices, they can purchase what is right for their unique situation. Your clients may decide to do one option now and add something else later. The nice thing about this is your customers get RESULTS and you dont have to work as hard because you have a SYSTEM. I recommend always offering options that set your customers up to work with you on a continuing basis. For example, a professional organizer could set up one package that includes an initial consultation, a clutter analysis, four weeks of room-by-room organization, and then four weeks of one-on-one work with the customer to teach them how to create systems of organizations. This option could include a Clutter Free Tips and Workbook. A personal trainer could offer an option called Fantastic Fitness! This 6‑month training package could include one-on-one workouts, a nutrition guide, a personal grocery shopping session to show how to Shop for Fantastic Fitness! and a goals and progress workbook. 6. You can turn your package into a very expensive option. Once you have your brain packaged, you can create an expensive option that will give your prospects a LOT of information in person. Most people that offer this generally offer a live event over several days. Because you are spending hours and hours giving your audience information, people are willing to spend anywhere from $1,500 to $10,000 and more for this type of program. With a powerful sales letter that is placed on your website, you can bring 20 to 50 people to your event. You do the math. 7. You can use your system for your talking points. Once you have a system, it becomes much easier to make sales, give presentations, and offer public talks because you have specific talking points which will always tie directly back into your infoproducts. You can offer people a chapter or a sample session based on a section of your system to give people a taste of what you offer. 8. Prospects can become customers at many different price points. If you are selling information products, the going rate for an e-book is between $17 to $97 and for a teleseminar, the range is about the same. For a manual, the price ranges start to spread out quite a bit. Ive seen them between $100 and $1,000 depending on the complexity of the information. In general to command more than $100 - $200, you have to start including CDs, templates, and other value-added components. The information-product business is a wonderful one to get involved in and very addictive for both you and your customers (in a good way). I hope this is getting your brain percolating on how you can package your brain as a system and how it will make it SO much easier for you to both market and implement it. The end goal is you can attract more customers and make more money with less effort. ACTION ITEM: Take a look at your current offerings. What can you do to package your brain into your first infoproduct? What format will it take? How will you market it? What will it cost?
